Pediatric occupational therapy (OT) helps children reach goals and developmental milestones that improve their daily lives. Occupational therapy focuses on how children move, play, and communicate with the world around them. Occupational therapists are trained to evaluate each child and develop a treatment plan to help them reach their goals.

Developmental therapy (DT) is a type of therapy that focuses on helping children who are struggling with developmental delays or disabilities, behavioral challenges, social interaction, immature play skills, and/or emotional difficulties. It addresses a wide range of areas, including speech and language, sensory processing, cognitive development, and social-emotional skills.

Speech therapy (ST) is a specialized therapy used to treat various communication disorders. At Boca Developmental Therapy Center, we provide pediatric speech therapy services for children with developmental delays, autism, and other related disorders.

Pediatric Physical Therapy (PT) addresses the whole person, from their bodies to their minds and spirits. Our team of experienced pediatric therapists provides comprehensive care that addresses developmental issues, including gross and fine motor skills, balance, and cognitive function.

Our clinical psychology and testing services offer a wide range of assessments and therapy services for infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents who present with psychological, behavioral, developmental, academic, family, peer, and health-related difficulties.

Our social groups are specifically designed to enhance children's social-emotional development. We believe solid social-emotional development is the foundation for communication, interactions, healthy relationships, positive self-image, academic success, mental health, and overall well-being. Our groups provide a unique social experience for children to improve their self-awareness, self-regulation, and self-esteem.

DIRFloortime® is an evidenced-based therapeutic intervention approach that helps children progress through stages of social-emotional development to build a strong foundation and motivation for learning and social interaction. DIRFloortime® is play-based and emphasizes building relationships and following a child's natural interests to promote healthy development.

Synergetic Play Therapy is a unique and highly effective approach that combines the therapeutic power of play with key concepts from nervous system regulation, interpersonal neurobiology, physics, attachment, and mindfulness. We are proud to offer this innovative and research-informed therapy to children in need of developmental, behavioral, and mental health support.

Handwriting Without Tears is a proven program for teaching handwriting to children. Developed by OTs, it uses multisensory techniques to make writing fun.

The Orton-Gillingham method is a highly structured approach that breaks reading and spelling down into smaller skills involving letters and sounds and then builds on these skills over time. It was the first approach to use explicit, direct, sequential, systematic, and multi-sensory instruction to teach reading. It is effective for all students and essential for teaching students with dyslexia.
